Color Printing Options

Without my being aware of it the last image of the Access+ PCs includes only a handful of all the printers that are actually available via the Pharos network. It turns out that the printers listed vary quite a bit from location to location on campus. This will be changing with the next image install at the beginning of Winter, '09 term.

Right now, in Suzzallo & Allen, the only color printing option is Suzzallo_Maps_Color; and, of course, the Maps Collection has somewhat limited hours. However, there is also a Dawg Prints color printer (self-serve) in OUGL, and color print jobs can also be sent to the Communications Dawg Prints Center.

Both of these options will be added to the list of printers in the Winter, '09 image. In the meantime, anyone logged-in to an Access+ PC can go to the dawgprints.washington.edu Web page, click on the Wireless Printing Tab, and click on the building to which they want to print and choose the printer to download to that PC for that session (it will not stay there after logout).
