The UW FOMS unit and/or Physical Plant do not have the staff on the weekends to unlock the tables and chairs and then lock them back up in the eveningsand on Saturdays and Sundays. This is the answer for the Kane Hall tables/chairs as well.
These tables were provided by the Physical Plant, and they are responsible for the locking and unlocking, as part of the UW grounds maintenance.
So, the tables will be unlocked and relocked on weekdays, but not on weekends.
