It's time! I want you to be the first to know that the big integration and collection moves will start any second now. I'll have information in the WON about the project next week, but wanted all of you to know first.
I will keep SAB up to date throughout the move since you will be impacted the most. I will post information in the WON as needed. You can also follow me and the collection move process on Twitter, http://www.twitter.com/kirstenuw. This is going to be a complicated move, but hopefully, if you keep up to date with my communications, read the signage, and know that the catalog will be up to date, you should find what you're looking for. If you don't, just ask me.
We will begin moving the A call numbers from all areas and integrating into one call number range. As a reminder, we are integrating Suzzallo/Allen, Natural Sciences, Suzzallo Periodicals, Children's Literature, Chemistry, and Fish-Ocean materials into one call number run. We will begin on Suzzallo 4th. The stacks will be:
Suzzallo 4th - A - DR
Suzzallo 3rd - DS - HA
Allen 3rd N - HB - HN
Allen 3rd S - HQ - PA
Suzzallo 2nd - PB - PR
Allen 2nd N - PS - Q
Allen 2nd S - QA - RS
Allen 1st S - S - Z
Ok, that's it! The carts are rolling to the beginning of the A call numbers in all areas and will be hitting the 4th floor soon! It's really happening!
