Amazing Race

Thank you...for participating in the Amazing Library Race UW Edition 2009.
The race begins on Thursday, September 24! Here are some final details, including an FAQ.

Race materials will be delivered to your library on Wednesday, September 23. You will receive:

• 100 Destination Clues that direct students to the next stop on the race
• A poster that shows the question participants must answer at your library. The poster will be placed in a pre-determined destination. Please do not move it.
• Your library may be selected as a prize stop.

During the race, you should be prepared to:

1. Help students to answer the question about your library if needed.
2. Check the answer and if correct, initial the passport. Here is a copy of the passport. See the answer sheet on page 2. There is a box to the right of each answer box where staff should initial.
3. Distribute prize if available (first come first serve while supplies last).
4. Hand out the clue to the next destination.

All race materials left over will be picked up on Friday afternoon, October 2.
