Ever since the system upgrade
Blackboard did a couple of weeks ago (this is the software used by Housing & Food Services for processing online
Husky Card and
Dawg Prints Card transactions), there continue to be sporadic outages. These are usually momentary and seem to go mostly unnoticed. What our users might experience is the Add-Value station not recognizing their cards when they are swiped to add money onto them, or a 'Temporarily Out of Service' note may appear on the screen at the Add-Value station.
Continue to
report these as you would any problem with these machines, knowing that the issue will probably resolve itself in less than a minute.
The problem is being worked on.
