Over the last couple of days we've been getting pretty thoroughly leafleted by a company, purportedly promoting the 'Relay for Life' and trying to get students' textbook buy-back business. Facilities staff, Ligaya, and I have been gathering these up and recycling them. The Libraries
Code of Conduct says:
Individuals will not....Vend, peddle, solicit or petition in the libraries; post or distribute materials without permission.
Paula Walker was able to find out who had been doing this and contacted him telling him of the Libraries policy. Many of these have been gathered up and recycled. If you see any, please do the same with them. If you notice what seems to be a new wave of this leafleting, please let me know. They are a bright yellow handbill with the words 'Get More Bang for Your Books' in prominent type.
