Last week, when the 100 students from Tahoma Junior High showed up unannounced, their visit was accentuated by the Dawg Prints dispenser running out of cards. The situation was quickly remedied but not before the feeling of a small crisis flared up. To help with any future occurrence like this, we now have a stack of blank Dawg Prints cards in the locked drawer at the Allen Info Desk where the emergency Dawg Prints cards are kept.
These are only to be used in the event the dispenser again runs out of cards. You can give these cards out for users to add value to. This is the only occasion when you should use these.
I also received a smaller stack of used Dawg Prints cards from the Art Library, which I've placed in the card file box on the middle counter at the Allen Info Desk. You should feel free to hand these out to anyone needing to purchase a Dawg Prints card, but especially when someone balks at having to buy one.
