Students with New Husky Cards

Quite a few students seem to be trying to use their old Husky Cards even after they've gotten their new cards.  At the point that the new cards are activated (which occurs when the students pick them up), all the functions stored on the magstripe are moved to the new card; and the old magstripe is deactivated.

This is showing up a lot right now with students trying to print or add value to their old Husky Cards, and they get an error message that says "no valid account."

What I've been telling students who are confused about the old and new cards is that the old cards are now only good for the UPass.  They have no other usefulness...and even that usefulness will disappear when the UPass sticker expires at the end of this month.

At this point, it seems like the Libraries patron database is mostly updated; so we're not running into very many students whose magstripes are not recognized for borrowing materials.
