TV in Allen Lobby Instructions

The exhibit in the Allen Lobby will be there until October 30.  There is a video (with audio) part of the exhibit, thus the TV on the stand near the south windows.  Here are the instructions for both openers and closers of the Allen North Information Desk:

The TV contains one DVD that should play continuously.

Staff opening the building can follow this procedure:

Opening

1. Walk over to TV.
2. Manually turn on the speakers (power button is on the back of the right speaker (right when you are facing the TV)).
3. Manually turn on power on the TV (power button is on a panel of buttons on the right side of the TV when you are facing the screen).
4. At this point there are 2 possibilities:

4a.  Disc is already loaded in drive; in this case the video should just start playing.
4b.  Disc auto-ejected the previous evening; in this case, re-insert the disc; if it does not start playing automatically, push play. Video should just start playing.

Closing

1. Walk over to TV.
2.  Manually turn off the speakers (power button is on the back of the right speaker (right when you are facing the TV)).
3. Manually turn off the power on the TV (power button is on a panel of buttons on the right side of the TV when you are facing the screen).
4. That's it.
