Recently, there have been reports of users occasionally not being able to open
Word documents on the
Access+ PCs. If users get a pop-up that says something about waiting for the program to finish loading, have them click the
Cancel button. At that point
Word will go ahead and open.
This is a known, sporadic problem caused by
Adobe attempting to run auto updates on these machines. Unfortunately, this probably won't be able to be corrected until the end of the quarter.
