Searching By Call Number in UW Libraries Search (PRIMO)

You CAN search by call number in Primo, but it is not very obvious:

1. You have to be in Primo--you can't do it from the purple search box on the homepage
2. Click "Browse search" (just below "Advanced search").
3. In the browse search page, select "By Library of Congress call numbers" from the drop-down menu.

Just be aware that the browse does not begin with the number you input but with the number that is alphabetically at the beginning of the rang: for example, PS3605 A___. It's a browse, not a true search.
