Humans vs Zombies - Spring Edition

The spring quarter Humans vs Zombies Tag game The game will begin on Monday, April 11th, and conclude on Friday, April 15th.This game has been played at UW for several years and there is usually very little disruption to the Libraries. We expect this year will be the same. The organizers have shared some information with us which may be of interest to all staff, particularly to those staffing public service desks.
This quarter's game will begin at 6:00am each day, and conclude at 8:00pm.
All players will be marked with bright orange bandannas located either on their upper arm or head.
Players may use toy foam dart blasters during the game, although these blasters may not be painted or disguised in any way.
Please note: Players are not to play the game indoors. Playing the game includes running, chasing, tagging, the use of toy blasters, or yelling to other players. Not playing the game includes walking through a building, or sitting in a hallway, even while wearing the orange bandanna. Rules statement.
If a game-related disruption is caused in a library, staff should ask the player(s) to identify themselves, which they are required to do. Staff should then file a report in the Security & Disruptions Database and Kirsten Spillum Day, Access Services, will follow up.
