New EMedia Recycling Bin in Allen Library

UW Recycling and Solid Waste has recently placed an EMedia bin on the 2nd floor of Allen North near the elevators. The bin will be on a service schedule initially of 2 pick ups per month, and we will adjust according to use.

Here are the items collected in these bins, as well as information on Bin Use:

• small electronics
• Inkjet Cartridges and Bubble Jet Printer Cartridges
• Compact Disks, DVDs, Videotapes, Audio Tapes, Computer Disks
• Batteries:

Alkaline
Carbon
Zinc
Lithium
Ni-Cad
Nickel
Metal Hydride
Silver Oxide

These bins are for incidental collections of EMedia, i.e. the occasional CD or cartridge.
