More Book Move Updates

Since catalog records are being changed daily, one of the best ways to keep track of the books and periodicals moves is to check the UW-Only Catalog. In the case of Suzzallo Folios, these have now been moved into a non-public space and must be retrieved by staff. They should be requested online, as are Auxiliary Stacks and other off-site-located materials.
Suzzallo Circulation staff are producing updated versions of the Lib Guide 37 (the Find it Fast! hand out) on an as needed basis. This means when a call number range change floors, e.g., BX moves from Suzzallo 2nd to Suzzallo 4th, this guide is being updated. The latest one is always posted in the glass cases near each elevator. I will also place a copy at each of our public desks. The revision date in the lower right hand corner will inform you as to it's currency.
There is a link to Kirsten's twitter page on the Information Services home page. It's right in the middle of the page as 'SUZZALLO & ALLEN STACKS UPDATES (Kirsten's twitter).' Kirsten recommends that the best way to make use of her twitter page is to read through the latest entries on a daily basis. It's the next best thing to being there (my words...not her's).
