I wanted to let you know that our online card office where cardholders can deposit funds using a credit/debit card has been down since last Friday night. The word I had at the time was that UW Technology found a security problem with the website, took it down for the long weekend, and expected it to be back up sometime on Tuesday. However, I just got a notice saying that Blackboard now has to install some kind of patch to fix it, and that it will likely take a few more days. But I wanted to give you...a heads up since I know that you have copy/print... customers who use the website to load funds and you may get questions about it. In case they don't already know, customers can always deposit funds in person with cash/check at any of the following locations:
- Husky Card Account & ID Center (ground floor, Odegaard Undergraduate Library)
- HUB Ticket Office
- Lander Cash Office, L-19
- Student Services Office, Schmitz 301
- McMahon Front Desk
- McCarty Front Desk
- Terry/Lander Front Desk
- Haggett Front Desk
- Deposit Stations (cash only) in Husky Den, Allen Library, Odegaard Library, and Health Sciences Library.
I hope this outage has minimal impact on your locations, and I apologize for the inconvenience to your customers.
