It's so crazy in the stacks! I hope you are all able to find material using the signs in the elevator cases and the floor maps as without those, no one stands a chance. We are currently moving books to and from practically every floor. We have 6 shifts going on and I'm planning the 7th. We're going to push like crazy to accomplish as much as possible before the first day of school.
We're currently moving:
- D to Suzz 4 (in reverse order)
- HC to 3rd Allen North
- N to 3rd Allen South
- PK to Suzz 2 (in reverse order)
- PS 2nd Allen North
- QC to 2nd Allen South
We've pulled some material from Kane Hall (yeah!) and on occasion have moved material off the floor temporarily to remove road blocks. This really helps speed up the move.
I do need to tell you what I've done with 3rd Allen North. 3rd Allen North now holds Suzzallo/Allen Stacks as well as Suzzallo Periodicals materials. We've created a pocket in the middle of the floor, color coded it and signed it to indicate that block of material is Suzallo Periodicals. Everything else on the floor is Suzzallo/Allen stacks. The Suzzallo Periodicals collection shrinks daily.
