Reading Room Closure

The Reading Room in Suzzallo Library will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, November 10, for a special dinner hosted by President Emmertt. This campus event is part of the University's dedication of a new memorial to the eight UW alumni who have received the nation's highest award for valor, the Medal of Honor.

Signs announcing the closure will be posted later today in the Room. The room will re-open on Wednesday at 1 p.m., when Suzzallo-Allen opens for the Veteran's Day holiday.

Library Facilities staff will be on hand Tuesday monitoring any deliveries that will be coming into the library. Most deliveries will be coming in through the Allen loading dock. Guests for the event will be arriving at the west entrance after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday and there will be escorts assisting them with any access issues.

We will be working hard to minimize interruptions or disturbances for staff and students.
