Two Summit issues

Patrons may be calling regarding two Summit issues:

1. The link from within their library account to "My Summit Account" currently takes them to a 404 error page.
2. Many patrons are reporting that they are unable to place Summit requests from home, but can successfully request Summit items when on campus.

If patrons experience either of these errors please do the following:
- Let them know that this is a known issue and has been reported.
- If they need to log into their Summit account, direct them to the www.summit.worldcat.org page and ask them to log in to their Summit account from there. It is working from that link.
- If they need to request Summit items ask them to please come into the UW Libraries and request their Summit item from there. It seems to be working from campus. Alternatively, ask them to request through ILL and put "Summit failed" in the notes field.

OCLC is aware and working on these problems but has provided no ETA for resolution. I will alert you as soon as these issues are resolved. Please forward any reports of these issues to me or to uwsummit@uw.edu as this can aid in troubleshooting.
