Browser Use at the Information Desks

Use Firefox or IE as your primary browser for helping users with the Libraries web site and to use the Info Index (students, use the pubdesk login for the Info Index)

Use Chrome to login to Alma using your own NetID.

• Students, open Info Index in Chrome to issue Temporary netIDs
• Temporary NetIDs cannot be issued with the pubdesk login

If you need to help someone by letting them login to something with their own NetID at one of the desk PCs:

• In Firefox, click on the 3 parallel lines in the upper right corner and click on New Private Window
• In IE, click on Tools, then click on InPrivate Browsing.
