When checking out materials, you may on occasion run into these pop-up messages in Alma:

•   First time user.  Verify photo ID before overriding and checking out items.  If patron does not have photo ID, do NOT override or check items out.
  
•  Patron card has been reported as lost or stolen.  Verify photo ID before overriding and checking items out.  If card has been found or replaced, instruct patron they should also notify Library Account Services.

 In both instances, the user who does not have photo ID can be referred to Suzzallo Circulation.  Staff there can put the person's materials on the 24 hour hold shelf.
