Parent and Family Weekend, 2019


This weekend, April 12-14, the UW will welcome students, alumni, family members, and friends to help celebrate Parent and Family Weekend. As an integral part of student academics and campus life, the Libraries will be well-represented by a number of tours and open houses, including a special behind-the-scenes look at the Conservation Center and guided tours of Suzzallo/Allen Libraries. Please be aware that we can expect an increased number of visitors on Friday through Sunday this weekend, both on formal tours and informal wanderings, so extend a warm Libraries' welcome to them and anticipate questions about your spaces and programs.   • Suzzallo & Allen Libraries Guided Tours: Friday, April 12, 1:30 p.m. & Saturday, April 13, 2:30 p.m.
  • UW Libraries’ Conservation Center Guided Tour: Friday, April 12, 2:30 p.m. 
  • Research Commons Self-Guided Tours: Friday, April 12, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. & Saturday, April 13, 1:00-5:00 p.m.
  • Media Arcade Open House: Friday April 12, 9 a.m.-5:50 p.m.; Saturday 1-4:50 p.m.; Sunday 1-9:50 p.m. 
  • Odegaard Undergraduate Library Self-Guided Tours: Friday, April 12, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. & Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
