New UW Libraries - Reserve a Room or Make an Appointment Web Site

The Libraries has moved to new software for reserving group study rooms and other kinds of spaces.  This program, it is hoped, will eventually grow to include reserving equipment available in some libraries (e.g., laptops in Odegaard).

 

The new landing page for Reserve a Space on the Libraries public home page is:

• To start, click on a location.
• Click on an available square to begin the reservation process
• Then click on the Submit Times button at the bottom of the screen (you may need to scroll down).
• At that point you will see this information:

Your reservation is not yet confirmed! You must click "Continue" below to proceed.
You will receive a confirmation email when your reservation is confirmed.

Policies:

1) Reservations may be made a maximum of 2 weeks in advance.
2) Spaces may be reserved for up to 2 hours per reservation.
3) Individuals can make more than one 2 hour reservation per day but there must be one hour between reservations.
4) Individuals cannot have more than one space reserved at one time.
5) Individuals can make no more than 4 reservations per day.
6) If a reservation is not claimed within 15 minutes, it may be used by another group.
7) Only current UW students, staff, and faculty with current, valid NetIDs will be able to reserve a space.
8) Reservations are only valid when the library is open. Hours can be checked here: http://www.lib.washington.edu/about/hours
8) Please do not leave your belongings unattended, they are vulnerable to theft.
9) Consult individual libraries for additional usage policies.
